In the reading A-person Guide, It went over the realm of digital information and communication technologies “regarding digital literacy and related computational thinking, this set of competencies such as Information skills:The ability to seek, evaluate, interpret, and apply relevant and trustworthy information”Us as students getting adequate information on current existing educational Technology, looking at online platforms such as Discord, Slacks and Facebook at lengths we use it for educational purposes to share knowledge. I am familiar with using digital media, for instance Facebook for private communication and participating in groups for assignments. The familiarity with the use of groups on Facebook opens the possibility for teachers to create groups for educational purposes.
This aids in advancing digital literacy. Studies done previously have indicated that online platforms have had a 70% impact on student’s learning, that a huge percentage. During the pandemic was the time I was introduced to Discord, I knew of it but I just never used it. In Discord, I was able to engage with other students in discussions which were immensely through peer groups. It was effective in knowledge sharing and idea development from the acquired knowledge. This being an age of science, technology is fast-growing, and that is the course people have taken. Especially Zoom got attention, as it became a great forum for learning full materials. Digital literacy is continuously taking different forms as new innovations precede but staying digitally literate is becoming a thing now, do you think soon enough the need to attend school institutions will become nonexistent. For example, will there be something like a metaverse that can be a tool for teaching?

There is a great possibility most classes will be available online but the physical structure of school are still necessary for practical/lab related skills in certain disciplines.
